Hello World Project
You’ve finished setting up your Othermill. What’s next? The Hello World project is our answer.
If you’ve never encountered it before, “Hello World” is a tradition that comes from the computer programming world. Teaching a computer how to say “Hello World” is often the first project that people make when learning a new programming language. It’s simple and easy to understand, but it also illustrates many important concepts. These concepts are also covered in more detail in our support guides.
In this project, included with your Othermill, you’ll create a simple, light-up circuit board. In addition to displaying a friendly message, it’ll teach you all the steps necessary to begin milling.
